Oxford Staff Participates in Holiday Angel Project

No one understands better the needs of seniors and the isolation they can feel during the holidays than the caring staff of Oxford HealthCare and Oxford Services.  So 3 years ago when the Orange County Council on Aging asked  Oxford to participate in their annual holiday project it was an immediate yes.  The Council provides  the staff with “Angels” that list the name, age and desired gift of a senior in a facility.  We then do the shopping and deliver the gifts to the Council on Aging  so that Santa can make his deliveries before Christmas.

We love to be able to help someone in need.    My 2 sons look forward every year to picking out the gifts and what a joy to see them embrace the ” gift of giving” said Patty Solarzano,  Area Director for Oxford HealthCare. We look forward to doing it again next year.

The SmileMakers Guild from the Orange County Council on Aging distributed over 2600 gifts with the help of companies and agencies like Oxford HealthCare.
