LICENSED CARE
Registered nurses (RN's), Licensed Vocational Nurses
(LVN's), Physical Therapists (PT's), Occupational Therapists (OT's), and Speech Therapists (ST's) are licensed to perform procedures at home. Virtually every medical procedure that does not require hospitalization can be performed in the privacy of home by Oxford HealthCare. Your needs will determine the services and the schedule - visit or hourly.

TYPICAL LICENSED SERVICES

  • Registered Nurses: RN's can perform highly sophisticated procedures, as well as case management. Oxford uses RN's for consultation with the physician, assessment and follow-up of a person's medical progress. RN's are also used for the supervision of our nursing staff. Back to Services Offered

  • Licensed Vocational Nurses: LVN's (LPN's) are trained to do most home medical procedures: injections, wound care, diabetic teaching, G-Tube feedings, trach care, ventilators, or any medical situation that requires a high degree of monitoring. Back to Services Offered

  • Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists: These professionals allow you to work on your recovery in your home, retraining the skills needed for independence. Back to Services Offered
  • Medical Social Worker: MSW's are important when an interdisciplinary approach is needed to treat the patient-family. The social worker assists patients and their families to plan and adapt in the home environment. Duties may include counseling and emotional support, crisis intervention, advocacy with community agencies, and information and referral. Back to Services Offered
