    Oxford is the oldest home health agency in Southern California. Bob Sobel, who is the continuous, sole owner, founded Oxford in 1967. He lives locally and understands the needs of the people we care for.

    Oxford has a thorough process to ensure they hire skilled, knowledgeable, caring employees, who appreciate being able to work with clients on a one-on-one basis. The key steps for hiring are:

               •  All applicants must have a physical examination, and TB test.
                 In addition to their certification or license, CPR certification must be current
                 They must demonstrate their knowledge and skill through extensive testing.
                 Oxford then does thorough reference, DMV, Social Security and criminal checks
                 The very last step at Oxford is to ask ourselves - 'Is this someone we would send out to take care                of our own family member."

                 An in depth orientation Is given to maintain Oxford's high quality of care
